Clean Thermal Management Solution for IVD Medical Instruments to Prevent Sample Contamination Caused by Volatiles
The original thermal material of Kangxi Medical’s portable IVD instrument released small molecules, contaminating optical sensors and test samples and leading to drifted test data. Huacheng provided NTP-G10 low-outgassing graphite heat spreaders and TIG-LV03 medical low-outgassing thermal grease. The clean formula avoids precipitation, eliminates sample contamination risks, stabilizes measurement accuracy and meets medical equipment validation requirements.
Kangxi Medical developed a new generation of portable IVD instruments with compact internal space and concentrated heat from power components. During tests using conventional thermal materials, volatile small molecules adhered to optical lenses and biological samples, resulting in poor repeatability of test results and failure to pass medical device reliability verification. Huacheng recommended NTP-G10 medical-grade graphite heat spreaders to spread heat horizontally over PCB hot spots and rapidly dissipate local high temperature. TIG-LV03 low-outgassing clean thermal grease is applied on contact surfaces of power components. The low-precipitation formula releases almost no volatile small molecules and will not contaminate optical parts or test samples. Full sets of cleanliness and thermal performance test reports are provided. The materials passed long-term aging tests by the customer. The equipment achieves good temperature control and stable detection accuracy. Small-batch samples and custom cut sizes are available, helping the customer successfully complete relevant tests for medical registration.
